Yes. We have a lot of experience assisting our video production clients with the content of their videos. We can help you come up with ideas for what types of videos to do, help you create titles for your videos, and give you tips and advice about what to include in each of your videos, how long they should be and how to go about writing them. We are also happy to review your video scripts after you’ve written them, to give you feedback and to guide you in creating an effective script that fits in the timeframe of your video.
Yes. Many of our video production clients are new to being on camera and have either never been on camera before, or have done only a few videos or media interviews. Learning to be a good on-camera speaker is a skill that requires practice and comes easier to some people than to others. We can help you to feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera, so that you look confident and sound professional. We take great pride in working with our clients on their content and their delivery, to make sure that their best self comes across in each one of their videos. If you are nervous or self-conscious about being on camera, we would be happy to help you get your on-camera career started, by providing a safe environment for you to shake off the nerves and practice building your on-camera speaking skills.
For on-camera appearances, solid, rich colors work best. Deep shades of blue, green, purple and pink typically work well. If you have a favorite color that looks great with your skin tone or your hair or eye color, then that’s probably a good choice. You don’t want to wear anything too bright or too dull. Stay away from busy patterns like stripes and florals which can play tricks with the eyes and with the camera lens. Also, think about the background that we will be filming in front of, and try to contrast the color of your top with the color of the chair, furniture, or wall behind you, as you don’t want to blend into the background. If you are filming on a green screen, then you should avoid wearing green of a similar shade.
